Imagine Crafts Mixed Media
“Grow” is something I definitely did a lot of this year. Life often brings a lot of change—some good, some bad—but you have to take it all in stride and that is what I did. I created a card that symbolizes this growth. Come grow with me! I am sharing how you can stamp on canvas with a fun butterfly stencil versus the norm of stamping on paper.
Skill: Beginner
Time: 20 minutes + dry time

Step 1
Take a sponge dauber and ink it well with Memento Luxe ink in Tuxedo Black. Lay the stencil over the canvas sheet and gently rub the dauber over the various areas. I have chosen to use two different colors of ink to give my butterfly a nice fun look.

Step 2
With Memento Luxe in Bahama Blue rub a dauber gently on the middle of the large butterfly stencil so you get a nice even layer of colors on the canvas sheet. I stenciled in the small butterflies with Bahama Blue and then drew some outlines with a Fabrico Marker in Real Black. This helps it really pop off the canvas. I kept it CAS and used only two colors, but Memento Luxe has a lot of colors available if you wanted a different look.
How to make a card
Step 3
Piece your card together and embellish for desired finished look. I adhered my canvas piece to a black cardstock before adding it to the white card base.

  • Memento Luxe – Tuxedo Black, Bahama Blue
  • Fabrico Markers – Real Black
  • Sponge Dauber
  • Canvas Corp – White Canvas Sheet
  • Cardstock – white, black
  • Recollections – bling
  • Scissors
  • Paper trimmer
  • Adhesive

Hi everyone! I am here sharing another Frantic Stamper card I made using Retro Card panel from the Retro Cool collection.  I love the abstract look of this background die perfect for anything!
I made a mixed media type card and used the panel as the overlay for card front with a lot of inks from Imagine Crafts.  I took a stencil from The Crafter's Workshop with some Versa Magic dew drop ink in Aegean blue and Peanut Brittle from the Memento Luxe line.

I hoe everyone enjoyed my post and thanks for stopping by!

Miss Pixie Star

Tuesday, June 21, 2016

Hi crafters!  Today I am sharing a card featuring a new release from C.C. Designs "Little Pixie Star".  She is stamped on on X-Press IT blending paper and for a nice strong adhesive I used Crafter Companion Double Sided Adhesive.

I colored Miss Pixie with Copic pens: E000, E00, E11, R56 for her skin.  Her outfit is in: R12, R14, R17, B21, B23, B24 and B29 with a touch of C1.

If your looking for way to store all your stamps, I used some Stamp & Die Storage Pockets (Avery Elle)   they work wonderfully.  I hope everyone enjoyed my post and thanks so much for stopping by everyone!! Please don't forget to check our challenges and you could be the next MarkerPOP winner!
