Stampendous Blog Hop Day 4

Hi everyone, we have been blown away by the fabulous projects created by the teams on the hop so far between Stampendous and Chameleon. Monica from our design team now joins us to share her fabulous projects.
Hi Crafters!! Today I am sharing 2 projects I made with Stampendous, my Chameleon Pens and Dreamweaver. I made a card and a canvas decorative piece.
by Monica Edwards
Materials used:- Chameleon Color Tone Deluxe Pen Set; Cool Grey CG8, Bubble Gum PK3 and Sky Blue BL3, Stampendous Pop Up Kitties Stamp and Die set.
Monica colored the kitty with the the Cool Grey pen getting highlights in the face to give a dimensional look, and a touch of Bubble Gum was added to the nose for super cuteness.  The basket was then colored with Cool Grey and Sky Blue.

Monica has then die cut the kitty out and mounted onto the basket.
We love Monica’s kitty card but we also love this canvas.
Monica added white paste over the stencil and then colored with Chameleon pens when dry, what a cool effect!
Now how would you like to have the chance to play with these pens? We have a great prize draw where you can win a 5 pack of Chameleon Pens of your choice and some Stampendous goodies. To enter just leave a comment at the end of this blog post and sign up for our newsletter HERE, the draw will remain open until Midnight GMT on the 20th July and the winner will be announced on the blog.
Now to hop on over to Stampendous to see what the designers from our hop partners have created.

Lil Man Hidden Treasure Box

Running out of baby shower gift ideas or shower decor? No problem! Today I am going to show you how to make an adorable hidden treasured gift box using Canvas Corp’s new Snips & Snails collection, these amazing handmade toys, decor and accessories for a little man’s room make us just smile.  They are perfect for setting on a shelf or filling the tote and box with toys, little dirty clothes or little treasures.  What a fun way to work with the Canvas Corp Printed Fabric Panels – adding them like embroidered pieces.

Materials Used:
30 x 36 Fabric – Dark Blue
It’s a Boy on Ivory
12 x 12 Natural Canvas
Snips & Snails Patterned Paper
Canvas Drawstring Bag
Other Materials:
1 7 x 7 x 7 unfinished cardboard or wooden box
3-4 2 x 2 x 2 unfinished cardboard or wooden blocks/boxes
Tools Used:
Xyron 1200 Station
Westcott Scissors
Step 1:
Cut 5 7 x 7 pieces of the dark blue burlap fabric and 16 .5 x 7 strips of natural canvas. Then fussy cut the images from the It’s a Boy on Ivory fabric panel.
Step 2:

Using your Xyron, run the 7 x 7 panels through the machine. This will make it easier to adhere the panels to the box.
Step 3:
Now, take your .5 x 7 inch strips, run them through your Xyron and use them to outline the 4 dark blue side panels approximately 1/4 inch from the edge.
Then, run the images you cut from the It’s a Boy on Ivory fabric panel through your Xyron as well.
Step 4:
Adhere the four dark blue panels to the sides and top of your box. Then, adhere the It’s a Boy fussy cut images to the side panels as you desire.
Step 5:
With your extra fabric and supplies, you can make some cute alphabet blocks! Cover the 2 x 2 x 2 blocks with the patterned paper, canvas and burlap.
Step 6:
Now, all you need to do is take a sheet from the collection and cut different letters from the alphabet out so you can create your alphabet blocks! Easy as that!
Step 7:
Now, this is the easiest step. All you have to do is take your canvas bag and adhere the images from the fabric panel to the outside of the bag.
And you’re done! Put everything together and box it up for your Hidden Treasure Gift Box!
