Friday Flower - Hearts Rose Tutorial

As promised, here is the Hearts Rose tutorial I promised I would show everyone.

 Supplies Used
Retro Punch for the base of the flower
Step 1: Punch out hearts or I used my cricut to cut multi hearts these are 1 inch hearts.  If you want a larger flowers cut larger hearts.
Step 2: You are going to curl the edges of the heart - I used a toothpick but you can use so many different things such as: lollipop stick, paintbrush etc...
Step 3: You are going to wrap or fold the heart in half around the toothpick.  This gives you a swirl or S looking shape
Different view of the heart wrapped around the toothpick

Step 4: Now glue each heart to the punched out retro flower

Glue them between the spaces on the retro flower you just punched out as shown

This is what you will end up - make 5 flowers of hearts

Step 5: Punch hole through the middle to stick the stamens through - it really keeps them in place better!

Looks like this once your done you can simply cut the excess off

This is the finished flower - now you want to fluff the petals by scrunching the flower

Here is the flower used on a Step card I made.

Hope you enjoyed!! Leave a comment if there are any suggestions.  Be sure to check back next week for another flower!
