Something New

1:26 AM

Hi everyone Monica here again for the next challenge - Something New.  I thought hard on this one and well normally I create a card, but we were tasked for something new so I created this bezel piece using Globecraft  & Piccolo which is one of the newest products available from the Sweetstamps store.

 Step 1:
Apply the embossing gel to the to the bezel.  I added some bronze enamel powder.
 Step 2:
Apply the enamel powder of your choice for this project I used the bronze enamel powder
 Step 3:
Heat set the powder - apply the 2nd coat after the 1st coat has completely set
 Step 4:
When the powder is still warm press your rubber stamp  I used Open Hearts Medallion onto the powder
Here you can see the stamp design on to bezel - it is a little hard to see though but the thicker the powder the deeper it will etch
Finished piece!

Added a charm piece to the end for some added flair.

We'd love to see your NEW creation (cards, scrapbook pages, mixed media, ATCs, etc.), so come and join the fun! You could win a $20 shopping spree for goodies at's online store by playing along in our challenge! Click here for our complete Challenge Rules.
