Working with Canvas

Welcome back Creatives! I hope everyone has enjoyed my creations so far. For this piece, I use more Rinea foil by die-cut some trees to create a scene.  I used one of the “Fairies” from “The Veil of the Faires Die-cut collection ephemera from Rita Barkat with the idea of creating a scene to make her come alive.  So, I used my Rinea foil for the trees and I wanted them to surround my fairy as if she was sitting in a forest.  This is where your find fairies right?! I used some distress oxides to color some grass and a set a sunset behind my fairy as she sat in her forest.

MAKING A FALL FAIRY

Hi Creatives! Isn’t it interesting that changing the background scenery can the feel of a scene? Fall Fairy RitaBarakat.com
The fall fairy looks very natural in this setting. Which is a good thing to remember – you can change the setting by changing colors and the details on the page. Monica uses barren trees and fall colors. Our fall fairy could easily be set in the spring by adding greenery and flowers, winter by adding white snow or summer with a warm sunset. Colors alone go a long way with setting a scene.

This fairy is one of five fairy die-cuts in “The Veil of the Fairies” die-cut collection that is in the shop now!
Two new sets of dies the Fairytale collection and the Angel Wings collection. If you want a sneak peek of the Fairytale collection I shared it on Mixed Media Monday that is still available to watch now on my FB page.  Make sure to leave Monica some love and I can’t wait to hear what you think of the new collections!
