Create a fun mini album that is interactive with us today..... Watch as your friends and family have fun with the shaker element of this project as they ooh and ah over your beautiful creation they will treasure and showcase for many Christmases yet to come.
Our Crafters Say:
"Oh my, the colors of the papers are gorgeous! Just beautiful!! I can't wait to get my hands on this set!! I can always count on with Heartfelt Creations to come up with a beautiful kit of papers, stamps and dies. You make it so easy to create cards and decorate books, Thank you for giving us so much inspiration!" - Debbie Zlab
"I love, love this collection! The reindeer is just adorable. I've been seeing a lot of pastel Christmas collections coming out, but this is the one that I know is going to be what I will use to make my Christmas cards this year. It is gorgeous with just the right amount of pastel but also still has the green/reds that I love. My fav is you are able to get light purple with pinks, greens and blues together and I LOVE them. Great job!" - Donna Hunter
Lets get started with a Top Tip: Gather all the supplies you will need for this project and keep them at your fingertips! (See the supply list below.)
Step 1: Use a paper trimmer to cut the papers from the Merry and Bright paper collection to 6 x 6".
Top Tip: There are many pages in the collection that include gorgeous 6 x 6" panels to make the paper selection so easy.

Step 2A: Use the pages from the HCLC1-454-1 6" x 6" Layered Circles Card-White as guides to determine where you need to die cut the circles from the designer paper. (See the video here for a step by step tutorial on how to do all of the die cutting and learn how to assemble the mini album.)
Step 2B: Diecut papers for the front and back of each page. Cut two papers for the cover, one plain piece and one of the decorative panels.
Step 3: Cover the front cover with a plain 6 x 6" panel. Cut a piece of clear cardstock to cover the opening on the cover of the mini album. Adhere with dries clear adhesive.
Step 3A: Adhere Darice foam strips around the circle making sure there are no gaps. Add shaved ice to the circle. Adhere the decorative piece of precut designer paper over the page using dimensional foam tape. (See photo of finished project.)
Step 4: Using the Circle Basics Large and Eyelet Circle & Basics Small dies, diecut a border to place around the circle opening on page 2.
Step 4A: Use the dies to create a narrow frame or..........
Step 4B: Create a wide frame for the back of the shaker.
Step 5: Diecut the sleigh and reindeer and the branches with the ornaments from the paper collection using the coordinating dies. Diecut them a few more times from white cardstock and adhere the layers together with dries clear adhesive. Adhere them to the album cover as shown.
Step 6: Stamp the lush lilacs with Cactus Flower ink on the magenta colored paper from the collection. Diecut using the coordinating die, place in the Lush Lilac mold, spritz with water and run through the die cutting machine. Use the stylus from the Deluxe Flower shaping kit to press the flowers down in the middle. Pierce the centers, add a stamen and secure with glue. Add frosting powder to the flowers and adhere to the card front as shown.

Top Tip: Adding glitter to the flowers adds an eye catching element.
Step 7: To create the flowers on page 2 you will repeat the process from step 6 but this time using the Poinsettia & Holly stamp and die set and the Poinsettia 3D mold. Use the Stack and Store daubers to add color to the petals as follows: Archival Sunflower Yellow for the centers and Archival Cactus Flower for the petals' edges.
Step 8: Diecut the pine branches from the paper collection using the Snowy Pine Village Die. Diecut the Ornaments from the paper collection using the Merry and Bright Accents Die and fussy cut the deer from the Winter's Eve paper collection to complete decorating page 2.
Step 8: Have fun decorating the remaining pages with the beautiful elements of your choice!
Have fun making your Christmas projects! Shh..... Christmas will soon be here!
